dlaczego nie drzewem
drzewo o krwioobiegu złotym
tak samo pnie się wzwyż
zachchłannie rośnie
dojrzewa
w skupieniu
w nagrzane słońcem południe
rodzi
jesienią
odrzuca pamięć lata
porywczym rękom wiatru
oddając liści sierść
ekshibicjonizm drzewa
i doskonała pod moim lokciem
kiedy piszę -- śmierć
---
why not as a tree
a tree with its golden bloodstream
scales the heights just the same
grows greedily
matures
while concentrating itself
in the sun-warmed noon
bears progeny
in the fall
casting away the remembrance of summer
giving away to the grabbing hands of wind
its coat of leaves
the exhibitionism of a tree
and under my elbow its perfect
whenever I write -- death

drzewo o krwioobiegu złotym
