Umbrella Gallery, Dallas, TX
It was an exciting night at MICROGALLERY, which is Umbrella Gallery’s biannual pop-up show, modeled after the concept made popular in New York and LA, which features local artists showing alongside each other in a salon-style exhibition of small works. Every artist had an assigned 4'X6' space on the wall. I had six 12"X12" works and three 5"x5" displayed. In the meantime I was exploring all possible reflecting surfaces. Then, a visitor approached me asking whether I was paid for doing it. I laughed at him and asked: "Who would pay a girl taking selfies?!"
