EAST CHINA SEA (Sept. 01, 2010) - Landing craft air cushion (LCAC) 58, assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5, enters the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), which had just departed Sasebo for a patrol in the Western Pacific. Harpers Ferry is part of the full time forward-deployed Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and reports to Commander, Amphibious Force Seventh Fleet, Rear Adm.
