2019 144-365 Haldon Forest Flight
A pedal strike on a rock hidden by grass caused an exploration of the mechanics of flight. I picked myself off, measured how far I flew (around 6m), cleared the grass off the rock and went for two more laps of the red trail at Haldon Forest. Realising I hadn't got a photo of the relative positions of rock and bike when landing, I recreated it on the second lap. I suspect I was more in the trail as I wasn't aware of a near miss on the marker post!
