Wheelbarrows
Wheelbarrows leaning on a shed at the Mary E. Theler Wetlands Nature Preserve in Belfair, WA. Photographed with a Rolleiflex Automat K4A TLR using long expired Ansco All-Weather 125 ASA film. I metered the film at 4 ASA and developed it in Beerenol (Rainier Beer).
The Recipe:
Beer (cheap Lager, I used Rainier) - 24oz
Sodium Carbonate (Arm & Hammer Washing Soda) - 5.5 Tsp
Ascorbic Acid Powder (Vitamin C) - 2.5 Tsp
Salt (Morton's Iodized Table Salt) - 1/2 Tsp
Developed at 20 degrees C for 20 minutes. Agitate first 30 seconds then 15 seconds every minute. Normal fix.
Warning - Add the Ascorbic Acid after the Sodium Carbonate to avoid a foam explosion.
