Running again!!
I swear I will never fully understand mechanical things.I'd arranged with a local AX enthusiast to come and see why it wouldn't start.He was coming on Saturday morning,so on Friday evening I moved all my cars and junk around so we could get the jump leads onto it.
I turn the engine over every few weeks and push the car a few feet up and down,work the brakes etc,in order to stop everything seizing up.
In the two years since the car last ran it has never given so much as a cough when I've turned it over,but for some inexplicable reason this time it sprang into life! I mean sprang too; it started almost instantly.
So.....when Pete came round on Saturday we had a running motor to look at....
It was nice to meet another enthusiast too.
