Tales from the Crypt

If you're anything like me when you learn a new post processing technique you want to use it...on anything. Even if it isn't really appropriate for a particular shot you may be working on at the time.

 

I'm sure when I first started getting into post processing I wrecked many a good photo in this way. Thank god I've started developing a bit of an instinct as to when something is working and when it isn't.

 

If i hadn't this photo from inside the Tomb of the Austrian Royal Family (Kaisergruft) could have been another victim. One of the benefits of starting to accumulate a minute bit of experience in photography I guess.
