Feeding Time
One of the two recently fledged Peregrine Falcon chicks was sitting on the structure of the lift bridge and chirping away when the adult female showed up with a recent kill (previous photo). The chick hasn't mastered the aerial transfer of food and thus the transfer of food happened on a solid structure so that the chick doesn't drop it. The mother Falcon made sure that the transfer happened without any incident. Burlington, Ontario.
