Peregrine Falcon - Female

One of the two recently fledged Peregrine Falcon chicks was sitting on the structure of the bridge and chirping away when the adult female showed up with a recent kill and landed not too far from where the chick was sitting. The young bird immediately closed the gap and came close to get the food from its mom (next photo). Burlington, Ontario.
