Jungle Cat

I was looking for birds in the woodland area when I encountered this beautiful specimen of her kind. Despite my up-brining in India I have never seen one before let alone photograph. It was easily twice the size of a domestic cat. Because of that tufts of hair on top of its ears some call them Swamp Lynx. Unfortunately, like everything else in natural world, their population is in decline. Village Purulia, West Bengal, India.
