Doomed

It is sad to see a fishing hook stuck inside the mouth of this Osprey - the outcome for this poor bird is obvious. The fishing line can be seen going across the black line on his face. The bird looked healthy and flew around a few times with another Osprey, the incident must have happened not long before. An act of stupidity from someone's part has most likely put this beautiful bird in peril. No help could be extended as it flew away and no nest is known to be around the location. Markham, Ontario.
