Weed-trail
This Osprey dove into the same pond where a Great Blue Heron briefly tangled up in the weed (www.flickr.com/photos/60250038@N02/35970489976/in/photost...). As it came out of water with a goldfish and clump of weed the Osprey had hard time gaining altitude. Eventually he managed to fly away with this long trail of weed. Given how often they nest on hydro pole I was worried of it getting an electrical shock from the dangling weed touching live wires. Hoped it made it safely home. Once the weeds come out in July, the Ospreys stop visiting this particular pond. Richmond Hill, Ontario.
