Ingenuity

A female Eastern Bluebird. Bluebird nest boxes in Carden Alvar are all against the fences; most often the birds land on a rusty fence wire before entering the nest. Some enterprising photographers decided to put up a broken piece of branch around the nest box to give the birds a more natural looking perch - only to forget about the cable ties.
