The Snake

Hai, kids (I love calling people that and child, seeing as they’re probably older than me and they get so offended. XDD Once, I was like, “Come here, kid,” to this kid in my class and he got so offended and he just yelled and yelled and yelled at me about how he was older. And I was like. Wow. XDD I’m rambling.)! I’ve got several of pictures that I’m working on and two projects/series. Are you guys proud of me? You should be, because I’m the laziest editor you’ll ever meet, I’ll tell you that. Anywhoodle, this is for my collaboration with Mell P (The Animal Project, if you forgot. And I would have, I mean, the last one we did was months ago.) If you want to see the other pictures of this project click here. Click it :3 Please. And her picture is up! I just don't have the energy to link something else! XDD Sorry.

This shoot was actually kind of terrible. It was raining the whole time until I needed to expand, then the sun came out, and the lighting completely changed. Then it rained again, after I gave up. And ksdjflksajdf. Terrible. Plus, I got 131 bug bites (Yes, I counted because I’m a loser with no life) from this, well not this specifically. More like from the fact that I tried over forty different pictures of me laying on the ground and such. Oh, and another thing that was terrible is the fact that this didn’t turn out at all like I had imagined. That’s why I loathe planning out my pictures. Because when I do, they never turn out as amazing as I planned or like I planned. Which is why I tend to wing things. But yeah, all the pictures on the ground were not working. At all. And I see this branch five feet above my head (making it ten feet from the ground, WOOH, MATH) and I’m all, “I’ve seen a snake wrap around a branch… Maybe this’ll work…” So I try jumping, using my limited upper arm strength, and scaling the tree, but nothing works. And I’m already being eaten alive my mosquitos and I’m exhausted. But luckily I’m not completely drenched—thank you tree for providing some protection from the rain. So, I step back and try to be innovative and come up with a plan, knowing I need some type of ladder or step to give me a bit more umph to pull myself on the branch. I look around the area, where I happen to be trespassing, word, and I see this long post or log leaning against a tree. I take it and lean it against the tree I want to climb and sort of walk up it sideways and claw at the tree until I hoist myself on to the branch. Success, you think? Wrong. It turns out my camera decided to be all battery preserving and put itself to sleep during my thirty minute ordeal. So I have to awkwardly crawl to a lower point, getting weird green stains on my tights, and jump down (landing in mud and beetles) before I have to get up all over again. And of course, I have to go up and down several times to make sure everything is decent. And it’s incredibly hard to pose on a branch, mind you, and model, and not fall, and make sure you don’t look stupid, and see if you can contort yourself to look snake-like (but failing, of course), and not die, and to try not to cut yourself on all the jagged edges, and to try not to show how utterly disgusting and uncomfortable you look and feel, and to hide your remote quickly so you can pose in time because you can’t just throw it on the ground like usual. SO DON’T BE MAD AT ME. OKAY? PUT THE TORCHES AND PITCHFORKS DOWN. Oh, and this creepy car kept pulling up and asking me questions that I couldn’t hear. When I told mom, she bought me pepper spray… XD

So in conclusion, this doesn’t look like a snake, this isn’t what I imagined, I look terrible in this, it wasn’t easy to do, and excuses are fun.

Done. Okay. I’m done now. Stop reading. I’m done. Now they think I talk too much. Now I’m talking to myself. Oh my. Okay. I’m done. Now. I’m done now. Okay. Bye.
