Bolinhos de Bacalhau

These are delectable fried codfish balls (from dried codfish, a Portuguese specialty). You find these all over Rio, but, like most things at Cafe Lamas, these are better than average. Nice and moist inside, perfectly seasoned. And a great sponge for the malagueta pepper oil in the dish on every table...malagueta is very, very flavorful, and very hot.
