Artisanal cachaças
In the past 15 years or so, Brazil has seen the rise of more and more artisanal cachaça producers, most located in the state of Minas Gerais. The bar called Boteco da Praia features around 30 labels ranging in price from about 2 bucks per shot, up to a walloping 15 per shot!!! And the flavors do vary from brand to brand, depending on the amount of aging and the wood used in the barrels used for aging.
