It is here that the Denver & Rio Grande Western's Tennessee Pass Route from Pueblo to Dotsero crests the summit near the headwaters of the Arkansas River. Twenty-two years without a train and counting. Slowly yet surely nature reclaims the railroad and people take claim their pieces of the famed Tennessee Pass.
