Finally, after 10 years, I got a clear, up-close shot of BGSX 1242, the Strata Corporation's SW1200RS switch locomotive that works the facility in Trail, Minnesota along the old Soo Line Plummer Line now known as the CP Bemidji Subdivision. This unit is otherwise inaccessible found at the end of the Strata spur that leads into the mining facility. Today it is found in Trail outside of the pit, perhaps waiting to be brought to be inspected or worked on. I'm not sure why its in town, but I am happy to get shots of this locomotive.
