The Silver Jubilee, Britain's First Streamline Train', LNER pos

In 1935, Nigel Gresley designed the Silver Jubilee, a train that became a design icon of the 1930s. Its silver streamlined form streaked between London and Newcastle in four hours. This poster was produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote the service, which travelled at an average speed of 67.08 mph.
