A photopolymer plate on a boxcar base

This is how a lot of digital designs end up on the letterpress! They begin on the computer, get output as a film, and then transformed into a polymer plate. The plate adheres to the type-high base and voila! a durable, type-high design just BEGGING to be smushed into soft paper.
