Pollinator Heaven - American Hydrangea and Kalm's St. John's Wort

American Hydrangea, aka Smooth hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens), a shrub native to the eastern United States is on the left. The yellow flowered Kalm's St. John's Wort, (Hypericum kalmianum 'Gemo'), a midwestern native, is on the right. Both shrubs attract an incredible number of bees and other insects.
