Chevron Stitch

Can't believe how hopeless I was at this Chevron stitch. Do I put the thread over or under and invariably I'd choose the wrong one. Thankfully I came across this free butterfly pattern on Miriam's Borduurblog which I really liked and helped me not to get too frustrated with myself as the butterfly began to take shape. Thank you Miriam for posting your pattern!!
