Hmmm, Can I Eat It ???
A Trip to WWT Slimbridge in mid October. The Weather was sunny to start the day.
A Grey Heron ponders on wether it can eat the Wasp/Insect flying close by, while at shallow end of the Tack Piece Lagoon looking for food.
The Grey Heron is an easily recognised, grey-backed bird, with long legs, a long, white neck, bright yellow bill and a black eyestripe that continues as long, drooping feathers down the neck. Flies with its long legs stretched out, but its neck pulled in.
