Short-eared Owl
A trip to Otmoor, Oxfordshire mid October hopefully catch a view of one of my favourite birds.
In the last half an hour before the sun dipped below the horizon the light was quite special as the 1st Short-eared Owl continued to hunt for food.
Short-eared Owls are medium sized Owls with mottled brown bodies, pale under-wings and yellow eyes. They are one of the Owls that can be seen hunting during the day.
