Preening Time
A first 2022 trip to my local Farmoor Reservoir, Oxfordshire on the 14th January. The weather was sunny. The hope was to get some more images of the Great Northern Diver that had taken up residence.
I found the Great Northern Diver quite quickly, However it was at times distant and it was very mobile. It would easily cover 40 to 50 meters under water when Diving. It was also being moved about by a paddle boarder that was exercising on the water. At times it was difficult to keep up with it as it worked its way around the edge of F1 Reservoir.
