Atlantic Puffin

A visit to the East coast of Yorkshire and the Buckton and Bempton area. Weather was cold, showery and at times overcast. Not what we expected for mid May.

The 2nd day out had slightly better conditions. These images are from the south end of RSPB Bempton and Northwick Cliffs.

A Puffin low down on Northwick Cliffs.

The Atlantic Puffin is the most instantly recognisable and popular of all North Atlantic seabirds.
