Great Northern Diver
A couple of days later and another trip to Farmoor Reservoir in Oxfordshire to try and photograph the Great Northern Diver.

The Great Northern Diver is also know as a Common Loon.
This was the last image of the day before i left. I later received news that about 15 minutes after i left the Great Northern Diver was hooked/snagged by a fly fisherman who was drift fishing in his boat.
Much later i heard that the GND had been unhooked, de-snagged and released. It was uninjured but showing major signs of stress.
