Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

This movie follows the original book more closely than Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory did in 1971, but unimpressive dance numbers and slightly-too-strange acting made for a less than stellar revision of the tale. Even Johnny Depp couldn't fill Gene Wilder's shoes.
