" Puffin Portrait "- Skomer Island.
Some sunshine at last bursting through on Skomer Island where these jewls of the Island without any doubt are the main stars. They are not only lovely, adorable, cute & comical but stunning to see & to spend time watching. They well deserve there time on land to reunite and raise one chick which both parents work very hard at.
Witnessed one poor Puffin having his fine catch of sand eels robbed from him from a rather nasty Blackback Gull, which proceeded to grab the Pufffin's leg tossed him up in the air so the poor Puffin dropped his catch. The out come was the Gull got a free meal......... Grrrrrrr.....Puffin was a little shaken but ok.
