DIES-3L

The Diesel Indirect Explosive Support series was one of the earliest artillery frames conceived. Although its tripod layout was used to lower production cost and provided stability when firing, it proved to greatly hinder movement. However, it did allow for a simple mechanism to change the frames firing arc, by simply adjusting the rear leg which safely positioned behind the vehicle.
