Ohkumi's BNTM cycle 1 theme 6 'floral royalty' Piper opt2
These were my 1st ever outdoor photos & i really enjoyed doing it, i was so paranoid at first though xD
It took me over a week to make & sew the dress, using the fabric from my youngest daughters 1st baby outfit, i was reluctant to cut it up, but decided i cant keep everything. My 1st attempt didnt go as planned, so i had to drastically alter it, being careful not to cut the flower fabric as i had non left. i so hope it paid off & that i get into the next round. Although, i really do love the dress, especially the corset :) i really wanted to show pipers, girly side, hope i pulled that off.
So, we had to make a story to go with the photo, as i was kicked off the computer i decided to use the old fashioned method, pen & paper ( do people still use those?, lol) anyway, after i finished i asked my partner to read it & tell me what he thought,(im so self concious) but, he didnt like it, said it was totally s**t & critisied everything i wrote. i kinda lost heart after that, so your getting the original unedited 1st draft. Hope you like it better then he did :(
After 6 months of waiting, the day had finally arrived. Waiting on the beach, Piper was so excited to see her true love again, but would she still feel the same? 6 months can be a long time to be apart. It was then, with a pang in her chest, she realised, no matter what, she would never stop loving Jon. He would always be a part of her life. The last night they had spent together had been the happiest Piper had ever felt, she never wanted it to end. the next morning he left for war, promising to always write & to let her know he would always love her.
Back at the beach, Piper waited anxiously, holding a single rose, stretching her neck to get a better view, it wasnt until the crowd fell silent that she realised he was getting off the ship. She pushed people away, trying to get to the front of the crowd, when she got there, everything seemed to move in slow motion. There he was, along with his fellow sailors & friends. She fell to her knees, crying. Her heart beat, like it was about to explode. How could she have ever doubted this love? It wouldnt ever stop. He looked beautiful, walking down the beach, draped in their nations flag, carried by his friends in his wooden coffin, never to kiss her again. <3
Hope you liked it. i guess it doesnt really go with the photo, but its the best i have.
We also have to say who we think is most & least likely to win this bntm, i hate this part, please dont take offence :(
Most likely to win:- This is hard as everyone has good weeks & bad weeks & i think everyone has equal chance, so im gonna base my vote on this themes pics (so far) & i think the best picture is :- Ariianna
Least likely :- Kiki, but again her pic this theme has proved she does have what it takes to win. as i think she has improved so much from her audition.
