Battered and Beaten

Still a beautiful gold, but this field of wheat was battered in heavy rain (again) last night. It normally would have been harvested by now.....but is completely saturated. Part of this farmer's field has been flattened. Purdue is estimating corn and soybean losses in Indiana of half a billion dollars, due to heavy rains and flooding. California, wish we could share ours with you.
