ABC Open Wide Bay
Sandra
Sandra Morgan manages the Ration Shed Museum in the Indigenous community of Cherbourg.
The shed had originally been used to distribute rations throughout the community but was left to rot when the Aboriginal Protection Act ended in 1968. Sandra decided the building should be renovated as an important part of the regions history. Now the building is used to share thoughts rather then food.
