Landscape Photography isn't just Photography
Nope, it isn't! It is not just about researching a location, planning a shot before reaching the spot, studying the weather & rise & set of the celestial bodies, traveling there, scouting a suitable unique location, fiddling & finding the right camera settings, or post-processing it later to make the image truly pop & sing.
It is about being at the spot for hours, enjoying mother nature's gifts to all of our sensory organs. It is to feel the crisp breeze on your face, taste the salty sea micro-droplets that land upon your lips, to see first & hear the crack of a lightning bolt much later, to be drenched in the rain & snow that will invariably chase you to such epic locations.
Landscape photography in its true essence is a happiness that you savor for hours at the spot & then ensconce it on your memory cards for lifetime memories & joy.
P.S.: The first paragraph is a necessary evil of landscape photography to achieve "Nirvana," listed in the second!
Happy Landscape Photography, fellas!
