The Biggie! The Everest Base Camp trek ironically gives very few glimpses of this iconic summit on the trek. There are a couple of spots near Namche Bazar & then after Gorak Shep, the last stop prior to the EBC from where you get a peep into this giant. Mount Everest which is ensconced & well hidden behind the Khumbu glacier & Lhotse peak, of course, is a show stopper whenever you get a sudden dekho.

 

No worries, the giant is still growing at a steady rate of six millimeters a year & should be visible from everywhere on the EBC trek in another ..........
