Post Dinner Stretch
Can't beat a stretch after a good meal! I didn't recognize what he caught, but it looked like an eel. This stretch of river is salt water/tidal, about 3 miles from the Pacific Ocean, in South Surrey, B.C. I am pretty sure this is a Great Blue Heron, that feeds on fish and shore rodents, like moles. Read somewhere, occassionally they choke and die, if they bite off more than they can CHEW, as in larger fish.
