Oh happy day....
.... cuzz Ellie the moose has returned for yet another season... this is last years calf that Ellie my doggie and i walked up upon down by the river.... and often this is how you see the game around here.... no great opportunity for that national geographic shot but on the other hand lots of up close and personal experiences.... on this day Ellie the momma moose is laying off camera left no doubt thinking yup.... thars that funny looking human with that dog again.... This mother moose has been around the lodge for seven years and has produced a calf each year.... we know her well and it is indeed a happy day to know she has survived yet one more season.... cbc
