I had acrylics put on, and this was the damage from the efile that the salon did to my nails

Warning ⚠️ if a bit squeamish! I generally don't "do" finger and toe injuries... so cover photo for those who want to keep scrolling!
However I want to document this journey. I want to also be clear there is no PAIN involved, although 'rings of fire'can burn and be painful mine do not hurt, they do feel a bit strange but no pain. I didn't have pain during the acrylic nails or fills. I only touched them for one stamp session, and for oil. BEFORE I removed them. Which was a nice acetone soak (cotton pad and foil)
I remember thinking "is that e file doing damage?" And "nah it doesn't hurt.."
That being said TLC is ALWAYS needed after removal IME. This however, was new to me... And I was surprised to find that this had a name!
