The Reward...
An Asian Open-bill (Anastomus oscitans) was holding its catch in beak with a perfect symmetrical pose with the other standing behind. I love this perfect pose for the species. The beak has an opening for holding this particular food of interest and this commonly found species is also known as snail eaters and they play a very significant role in reducing the snails and clams which are pests of agricultural fields. Pics was taken from a wetland in North Bengal, India.
