Brickfair Recap

Well Brickfair Virginia 2014 has come to an end and it is bittersweet. I had an absolute blast the entire time but now I am super inspired and have a huge amount of Ideas for builds! These are the builds that I brought this year (Didn't have the time to take individual pictures of each thing before I had to break it all down to put in my suitcase). This year I contributed to Sigma Octanus IV, DEVGRU,and Vault 3. I also helped Cam put SO MANY flowers onto his display that he brought. Thanks to Kevin, I added that build in front to the Cyberpoc display last minute.

 

Fun fact about that build. The day before I left for Brickfair, Nick (EvilChef) skyped me wanting to make a last minute collab. So I threw this together in an hour and a half (not my best work, but it got the job done) for the 2x2 32stud baseplate collab we discussed. Turns out he didn't make his part... That darn kid! haha So Kevin mentioned Cyberpoc needed some more green tile water baseplates and we put that onto it :P

 

I had an awesome time hanging out and trading with everyone (Codey, Gage, Jeremy, Leo, Sean, Nick(Spartan-N912), Nick(Evil Chef), Alex, Evan(Iris), Kevin, Mike, Forest, Miles, Ian, James, Chris(HighonBricks), Jacob, and a whole BUNCH more) I am forgetting a lot of people because I met so many. Comment and add yourself if we shared a moment this week..

 

A huge thank you to Codey, Jeremy, Gage and Leo for letting me crash in their room Friday night so I didn't have to make the hour and a half drive from where I was staying this past week. Gone Forever. Aaron Fernandez.

 

Another huge thank you to Julie and Will for letting me work the Booth on the Public days! You both rock and it was awesome talking and hanging out with you this convention!

 

On a different note, I need to raise money. Sadly, my dad left his Ipad mini (pimped out with an otter box) on the plane on the trip home. Still waiting to hear back if it has been found, but I highly doubt it. FM me if you want to buy stuff from me, I have some AMA, Brickarms Prototypes, and well... lots of 3rd party items, just ask and I will tell you what I have. I also have lots of other lego pieces including Star Wars Figures, Harry potter figures, well you get the gist. If worse comes to worse, I will sell part of my Shotgun Shells collection.. Anyways, I'll end this with saying, I have many ideas for builds, so expect stuff very soon! I'll have a tag picture up soon as well so you all can know a little more about me :P
