Passing Portals

Finally found the spot where many photographers take of the George Washington Bridge. I was always intrigued by how close photographers were to the bridge, and I finally found out how they did it. There is actually a very small park located at Fort Lee that overlooks the G.W. Bridge. You get so close you can hear every engine roar by across the bridge. The first time I came here, the entrance gates were down, so I drove in through the exit gates. There I was awaited by 2 patrol cars. Without hesitation, they drove up to my car and threatened to give me three tickets for my actions. I apologized and told them I had no idea and they let me go.

So this weekend, my good buddy and I decided we would try it a second time, but before the park closed. We stationed our tripods for almost 2 hours, taking as many long exposure shots we could until both our camera batteries died.
