Lumber Tug
Dahl Tug & Barge's tug Triton is seen assisting in the loading of logs upon the barge Paul Bunyan in Tacoma's Commencement Bay.
Built in 1965 as Hull # 210 by by Pacific Coast Engineering in Alameda, California as the Sea Lion for Crowley Marine. One of two Daring Class Crowley tugs, she was built with a single 3,500 hp engine. A desire to create more powerful tugs resulted in the first twin-engine Crowley tugboats. The culmination of this process can be gleaned from her similarity in appearance to the infamous Invader Class of tugs.
