Exsertus Private View:

Daniel Jordan

Saturday 28th July 2007

6-8pm

R.S.V.P.

Daniel Jordan's artwork is a playful and personal exploration of the world of magic and enchantment. He has strong ideals of the functionally of art and has for many years created installations and performances which are aimed at creating positive and affirmative sensations, inspiring moments of wonder and delight in the viewer. These include a giant bubble machine, banners with affirmations, projected kaleidoscopes, magic tricks, tarot readings, mysterious monuments and a film which displays the beauty and astonishing intricacies of snowflakes.

For his residency in Exsertus, Jordan is creating a film which is a departure form previous works. This experimental film will take us on visually stunning psychedelic journey deep into an indeterminate rave like space where two luminescent figures confront each other in a Faustian struggle.
