Improved Order Of The Red Man
In the sifting through of various estate artifacts, the above photo was unearthed. The photo is of the Standing Stone Tribe of the Improved Order of the Red Man, and features my great-great grandfather standing to the right of the man holding the banner. The “tribe,” comprised of local citizenry dedicated to the preservation of patriotism and history, maintained the tradition of costume and ritual of Native Americans as an ultimate kiss-off to the British. Most of these dudes just look kinda sketchy. The costume and headdress he’s wearing in the photo was also found, and much debate has ensued as to what to do with it.
