Six Cygnets

Six young mute swan (Cygnus olor) cygnets, out for a paddle on Pocklington Canal in East Yorkshire. These are quite a young brood, likely less than a week old; both parent swans were close by, keeping a good eye on their little family. I saw the nest a few hundred metres further along and unfortunately there was a single unhatched egg in the centre.
