Building day 1:

inserting the spreaders and clamps that give the deck the angle, shape and shear.

this is done so early because I have to look how much planing the upper sides of the

sheerboards need to get close the shape of the original kayak. This results in the thought that, in certain spots, especially one meter from the tip or so some planing will be needed and there, in return, the deck beams should not placed too high up there.

The line is used to check if the deck is true (symetric), but also to measure the deck sheer at different stations.

Next step was to plane the stiffer board a bit down and saw between the tips to make them match.
