Mount Edith Cavell

The rain stopped and the cloud lifted as we walked down the track to the bridge looking onto the Mount and Lake Cavell, there was a break in the cloud and sun shone down on the emerald waters of the lake. Mt Edith Cavell is named after the the celebrated British Nurse who indiscriminately saved the lives of both British and German soldiers during the 1st World War.
