grevillea robusta...

Grevillea Robusta or 'Silky Oak' is an inhabitant of rain forests in New South Wales and Queensland. The tree has become quite rare in its natural state. Under these conditions it can grow to 30-40 metres in height!

It is frequently planted in streets, parks and gardens. This one is in an old country cemetery.

It grows rapidly from seed. It seldom exceeds 16 metres when cultivated.
