M101 / NGC 5457 Pinwheel Galaxy

After a long period of bad cloudy (and cold) weather, I had 2 nights under the stars and M101 in sight. I captured 97x120 seconds of data and I captured about 20 lights with the Optolong L-eXtreme filter. (Ha and O-III) trying to emphasize these accents in the result.

 

Edit 2023-05-23: I marked the area of Supernova SN 2023ixf discovered by Koichi Itagaki 2023-05-19. This image is based on data shot at April 30 and May 1 st in 2023.

 

M101 / NGC 5457 Feuerrad-Galaxie

Nach langer Zeit mit bewölktem Himmel und kaltem Wetter hatte ich endlich mal wieder zwei Nächte mit klarem Himmel und freie Sicht auf M101. Ich habe 97 Aufnahmen à 120 Sekunden gemacht, davon etwa 20 Aufnahmen mit dem Optolong L-eXtreme Filter (Ha und O-III) um diese Gebiete im Ergebnis etwas zu betonen.

 

Edit 2023-05-23: Ich habe die Stelle der Supernova SN 2023ixf markiert, die am 19.05.2023 von Koichi Itagaki entdeckt wurde. Dieses Bild basiert auf Daten, die am 30.April und 1. Mai 2023 aufgenommen wurden.
