Galactic First

My first Milky Way photo. I don't get to places without light pollution to see this but I took my first photo workshop and they took us out to Raccoon Point to teach a bunch of us how to shoot the Milky Way. The workshop was given by Brian Zwit for Salisbury University's Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art as part of their 3 day Art in Nature Photo Festival. We also heard a keynote presentation by Ken Basile on the life of Ansel Adams along with an exhibition of the University's collection of Ansel's original prints. I entered the photo contest too, but I'm not holding my breath until the judging tomorrow. We got to see all the other entries posted on the wall and I have a long way to go.
